Contract Manager IT
Ørsted
Join us in this role where you’ll be working with the software licenses supporting our technology landscape. You’ll have special focus on value optimisation of standard IT software used across our organisation. You’ll be adding tremendous value by analysing the usage of software, the commercial structure of the agreements and negotiating the contracts so that usage and budget expectations are met.
Welcome to Services Procurement
You’ll be part of Contract Management in Indirect Procurement where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for managing contracts and licenses within IT & Digital.
Indirect Procurement manages all indirect spending in our business. We have three departments driving the procurement supply chain, Category Management, Sourcing, and Contract Management, that are based in Denmark and Poland. You’ll be part of the IT & Digital Contract Management team in Denmark. We’re dedicated to delivering high value to our stakeholders across the organisation through best-in-class commercial management of supplier relationships.
You’ll play an important role in:
- managing software licenses, incl. renewals and adjustment of licenses (true up/down)
- analysing and advising on optimal license structures for IT SW contracts
- streamlining and simplifying licenses and finding opportunities for savings by using entitlement and usage data
- reducing compliance risk and managing software audits
- negotiation renewals of IT SW contracts
- providing knowledge and insights about IT commercial structures to IT sourcing.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have experience from similar roles within IT contract management of software from a position in procurement, from software sales, or from auditing of software usage
- have an educational background within IT, sales, business administration, or economics
- have a commercial mindset and be eager to balance costs versus budgets
- are experienced in providing data-driven insights, preferably in relation to complex IT vendors and advising on possible optimisations and value creation in the software portfolio
- thrive in an international environment and can create valuable collaborative relationships with your stakeholders both internally and externally.
- speak and write English fluently.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. You may, for example, be skilled in VAT compliance but have limited advisory experience. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
