Are you experienced in Electrical Engineering, particularly in power distribution and control cabinet design within a development and production setting? If so, we offer an exciting opportunity to be a part of our team of skilled Electrical Engineers.
We are looking for a new colleague to design and develop control systems and utilities for our tracking radar technology. Your skills and experience will play a key role in enhancing the performance and innovation of our advanced radar technology. With our in-house production capabilities, we offer broad opportunities to contribute to the development of our advanced technology.
Design of electrical systems
We design everything in-house, and existing solutions are integrated into the radar. Achieving the optimal solution requires extensive collaboration across various teams and areas of expertise. As such, you will work closely with colleagues specializing in electronics, microwave technology, software, and mechanical engineering.
Your primary responsibility, will involve designing and testing electrical cabinets and operator panels, that control the modules within the radar system.
Specific tasks will include:
- Working with system engineers to design electrical cabinets and functionalities.
- Develop documentation in PCSchematic for both subsystems and complete systems.
- Establish a structured approach to documenting solutions – from prototype to final product.
- Actively participating in the implementation and testing of new systems.
Experienced electrical engineer
You will be responsible for your own area of expertise, making it essential that you can effectively manage and advance your assignments to ensure timely delivery. A structured approach to your work, combined with meticulous attention to detail, is critical for ensuring the quality and reliability of your solutions.
Your qualifications should encompass most of the following areas:
- Experience in the design and testing of automation systems
- Practical experience with PCSchematic or similar ECAD software
- Creating bill of materials
- Experience in writing documentation, preferably with an understanding of CE conformity marking
- Knowledge and practical application of the Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive
Prior experience with radar technology is not required, we offer a tailored introduction to radar systems to support your transition.
Your new team
You will join our Technology Department, which is organized into cross-functional teams, each focusing on specific aspects of the radar system. You will be part of the Pedestal, Trailer, and Shelter team, consisting of 45 dedicated colleagues with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience. Collaboration across the organization is key in ensuring a seamless transition from design to production of our systems. Together, we design and deliver outstanding solutions to our customers.
