The position
As an Environmental Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across various Novo Nordisk sites. You will serve as the essential bridge between locations, ensuring environmental standards and regulations are consistently met, while helping us create a more sustainable future.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing environmental activities to ensure compliance with our Environmental management system, driving change and creating results.
- Working with development of current sites and with integration of new manufacturing sites.
- Monitoring environmental performance and areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing plans to meet Novo Nordisk Environmental sustainability ambitions.
- Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the organization’s environmental performance.
- Steering cross site projects or programs.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A MSc degree in environmental engineering, sustainable master program, environmental science or other relevant education.
- 3-5 years of experience working with complex processes from a similar position.
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
- Great communication skills and ability to work with various personalities and nationalities.
- Fluency in English; written and spoken communication skills in Danish are considered an advantage.
Moreover, you possess a strong background in structured work processes and hands-on experience in facilitation. You are skilled at utilizing new technologies, which enhances your effectiveness in various roles. In addition to these core competencies, it would be advantageous to have knowledge of ISO 14001, as well as internal insights from Novo Nordisk processes related to environmental management or integration work. Expertise in ESG/CSRD data and reporting, water, and biodiversity/nature is also highly desirable. Additionally, experience in working with diverse cultures and varying levels of organizational maturity would be a significant asset.
As a person, your time management skills are commendable, and you approach your work with a structured mindset, allowing you to maintain a comprehensive overview and successfully complete tasks even during busier periods. Adapting to shifting priorities comes naturally to you, and you proactively seek advice and guidance on more complex issues.
About the department
Novo Nordisk Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing is an area within Novo Nordisk responsible for global pharmaceutical aseptic manufacturing. You will be part of the AM Business Development & Support department, which is responsible for developing and optimising our supporting processes related to our manufacturing network, such as Finance, Investments & Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Environmental Sustainability, and cLEAN. Furthermore, we are responsible for translating and driving global results in accordance with our environmental strategy Circular for Zero for our global manufacturing network. As a part of the AM environmental sustainability unit, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
