As we are on an exciting transformation journey moving to the Cloud, we are currently looking for a Data Engineer that will play a key role in migrating existing data and analytics solutions to the AWS cloud and transforming current state to the new data platform - that will be designed and built from scratch.

We offer a hybrid remote work solution within Sweden, but you are expected to be present at our HQ in Helsingborg regularly.

Get an idea of the role

As a Data Engineer at Resurs your role includes maintaining the current MSSQL-based solutions during the migration phase and contributing to the development of a new cloud-based data architecture. You will work closely with data engineering team, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data solutions are efficient, scalable, and meet business needs all while transforming to the new platform. You will also:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and processes using AWS services.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data flows and processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues in both existing and new cloud solutions.
• Have the authority to make technical decisions related to data engineering and implementation within assigned projects.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of data processes, architectures, and workflows.
  

On a personal level

You are probably a curious person that likes to learn new technologies and methodologies, to help improve your great analytical and problem-solving skills.
We also believe that collaboration and communication are your strong suit, if you are to succeed in this role. Besides that, we believe that you have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining data pipelines and solutions both on prem and cloud.
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, EC2, and IAM.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in building and optimizing data warehouses in MSSQL and other cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of data lake design and architecture using AWS.
• Understanding of data governance and data security best practices in cloud environments.

If you have previous experience for the banking industry, it's a plus.
