POSITION OBJECTIVES
A cleaner, is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in an office. The specific job duties of a cleaner may vary depending on the employer's needs, but typically include the following:

Regardless of the content of this job description the employee is expected to participate in any task necessary for the organization delegated by the manager at all times.

Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the premises, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Washing as well as folding and storing them.
• Emptying and cleaning garbage and recycling bins.
• Stocking bathrooms with supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and towels.
• Reporting any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• A cleaner may work full-time or part-time, and may work alone or as part of a team. They may work for cleaning companies, or organisations. Physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills are essential for success in this role.
