Sales Engineer Japan | OnRobot

Reporting to the General Manager APAC, you will be a part of a dynamic and ambitious company with a bold vision. You will lead a group of dedicated employees who are all focusing on expanding the sales of OnRobot’s unique technologies with relevant distributors and partners.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Rapidly grow OnRobot’s sales across the assigned sales territory
  • Actively drive revenue growth through partners; increasing average sales by partner
  • Develop new sales opportunities for channel partners by qualifying leads and making introductions
  • Support partners to help them improve their applications and to demonstrate our products.
  • Provide basic technical support and conduct trainings for partners and end users.
  • Work directly with customers/partners to solve urgent issues and get positive results.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of OnRobot products, applications and applicable robot platforms
  • Ensure effective enablement of new partners through sales and product training
  • Support set up and participate in exhibitions and fairs.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in technical sales and driving rapid revenue growth in the automation or robot technology is required.
  • Results focused self-starter with high energy and motivation to operate independently and implement plans effectively and efficiently.
  • A hands-on leader able to coach, guide and develop channel partners.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 75%. Occasional overseas business trips may be required.
  • A high level of proficiency in English is also needed (frequent communication with foreign colleagues both written and spoken)
