Systematic is looking for an experienced Director to lead our Customer IT Operations team, drive continuous improvements, and ensure seamless, reliable, and secure technology operations. Our dynamic IT Customer Operations team is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our customers.

Systematics’ IT Operations team support the projects delivering high quality operations services to customers in a cost-efficient and reliable manner. The IT Operations team offers service desk, major incident management, application- and infrastructure operations and service delivery management for customer projects across business units.
IT Operations is a vital part of the Systematic delivery value chain for many of our customer engagements. Hence the ability to deliver as agreed within the scope, cost and quality budgets are key to business success. Furthermore, it is of strategic importance that the customer operations capability is continuously optimized to stay competitive in the market both in terms of cost of service and quality of service.
Reporting to the Group CTO, you will lead the IT Operations team, which consist of 45 employees in Denmark, Romania and Sweden You will have the direct people leader responsibility for 3 senior managers and 2 IT architects.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, implementation, and lifecycle of technology solutions that enhance our business processes and IT operations.
As Director of Customer IT Operations, you will drive and succeed through:
- Organizational Leadership: Optimize and develop the organization and its capabilities, by setting clear goals and expectations, empowering, and coaching the team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
- Maintain operational cohesion: Manage cooperation with projects and suppliers to ensure that the IT Operations team can deliver on its obligations across engagements with projects.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement a clear service strategy and roadmap for the IT Operations services.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure alignment and buy-in across business units to the joint strategic development for IT Operations. Having a collaborative and proactive approach to stakeholder management is key to succeeding in meeting the agreed deliveries and the optimization targets for the organization.
- IT Operations Management: Oversee that the quality of the deliverables and processes are high, by establishing and implementing best practices, standards, and policies, monitoring and reporting on the performance and availability of the services, managing risks and issues, and ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and contracts.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous development and optimization of the IT Operations services, by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, leveraging best practices and industry standards, and adopting new technologies and innovations.
- Subcontractor Management: Ensure that the subcontractor portfolio is continuously benchmarked and optimized, while catering for long term partnerships, by selecting and managing the subcontractors, negotiating, and reviewing the contracts and service level agreements, and at the tactical level ensuring quality and performance of the services.
An experienced Director with solid experience within this field
- Experience: 10+ years in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing complex IT environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and ITIL frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strategic Vision: The ability to align IT operations with business objectives, driving growth and innovation.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in both Danish and English is a requirement.
