Job Description
Deloitte is at the forefront of the rapidly evolving cyber regulatory landscape, driven by global challenges. To support our clients in improving their security, compliance, and governance, we are expanding our team with a colleague who can navigate the intersection of technology, law, and organization within the field of cybersecurity. With the EU adopting numerous cybersecurity regulations over the coming years, we are looking for someone with expertise in IT security and/or data protection to join us.
We are one of the largest global knowledge firms, offering a collaborative environment where employees can thrive professionally. We value our people as our greatest asset, and that is reflected in our day-to-day culture. You will be part of a highly skilled team of around 10 colleagues, where you can exchange knowledge and unwind over a well-deserved Friday drink. Our team collaborates across Deloitte’s departments, allowing you to engage with a variety of experts and tackle exciting challenges both internally and in working with some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations. Sound interesting?
Exciting Opportunities Await You:
- Deliver tailored cybersecurity advisory services as a trusted advisor, with a focus on IT security legislation, compliance, governance, and risk management. How should IT and organizational structures at our clients support an ever-growing cybersecurity regulatory landscape?
- Define and implement the standards for future IT security practices. How does best practice translate into action?
- Play an active role in mentoring our junior consultants, guiding and training them as part of our team.
- Work closely with a strong team in Cyber Regulatory Compliance & Privacy, alongside colleagues who are either legal experts or IT security specialists.
Qualifications
- You have experience from your studies or previous employment in one or more cyber regulatory areas, such as data protection (GDPR), CER, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, AI, or data ethics. You will specialize in one or more of these cybersecurity regulations.
- Experience in Compliance-by-Design, Privacy-by-Design, or Security-by-Design implementation and risk assessments is beneficial but not required.
- You will be part of a specialized team working across Cyber and the firm, advising clients, typically including DPOs, Privacy Officers, Compliance Officers, CISOs, CCOs, or IT Risk Managers.
- We imagine you have a background in law, engineering, IT security, or similar fields. Certifications such as CISM, CGEIT, or CRISC are advantageous but not essential. What matters most is your passion for and/or experience with the regulatory areas mentioned.
- You can communicate using standard IT terminology and identify technical challenges in relation to legal and business requirements.
Even if you do not see yourself in all the bullets above, we still encourage you to apply if you believe your skills can make an impact on our team.
