About the role
To support this and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a motivated Engineering Monitoring Specialist. You will be reporting to our Team Lead in Engineering Control Center.
As part of our Engineering Control Center (ECC) team, you will be responsible of monitoring all incoming alerts using our core monitoring application Dynatrace, performing 1st level support and escalate and manage incidents.
You will ensure 24/7 proactive monitoring of core infrastructure, systems, applications, and services based in Copenhagen. You manage escalation and follow up of alerts and incidents until they are in resolved.
What you will be doing
- In the event of a major incident, you will take control of the process and help restore operations.
- Assist in assessing the impact of incidents on both the business and customers.
- Participate in the continuous investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Perform daily system health checks.
- Execute manual changes as needed.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports.
What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, you should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or within an IT Operations environment. We expect you to be curious and highly motivated to expand your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Basic IT skills and knowledge
- ITIL certification (a plus)
You are an exceptional team player with a positive and open mindset, and you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders. Your strong customer focus allows you to be flexible and work effectively under tight deadlines.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improving efficiency.
Banking Circle is an international company, fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Proficiency in additional relevant languages will be an asset.
This position is based at Banking Circle’s offices in Copenhagen
