We offer an exciting opportunity to join our agile IT department – a position where you’ll get to dive into SAP Logistics, delivering global outsourced warehouse and transportation solutions.

How you will make an impact
At our HQ in Aarhus, you’ll join our IT Solutions department in our Global Logistics program. We’re an agile release train, responsible for developing and deploying applications within our global logistics processes covering both own applications and integration to our 3rd party logistic providers.

Our main focus is on SAP EWM/TM, 3rd party logistics integrations and digitalization and we’re currently in the progress of standardizing solutions across our markets. We use SAFe as framework, work in self-governed teams and we design, build and deliver IT systems and business improvements for our markets across Arla.

As our new solution consultant, you will:

• Develop template solutions including the configuration, test and documentation

• Design solutions in SAP including planning and execution of logistics outbound processes from our dairies, to our distribution centers and to our customers.

• Work closely with team members across our business and IT to roll out and implement the solutions, simultaneously creating and developing key relationships with our logistics business

“Our goal is to standardize and create transparency in our processes and cost structures and of course ensuring that we deliver our dairy products to our customers on time in full. And you’ll play an important role in achieving this,” says Steffen Reinholt.

What will make you successful
We can make this position suit different profiles. You’re have most likely already worked with and implemented logistic processes using SAP applications, or perhaps you’re a super-user from the logistics area looking to further strengthen your career within IT. Alternatively, you could be a new graduate in Logistics & Supply Chain Management who can bring strong academic insights into these areas.

• Have a profound interest in the technical aspects of SAP and you have the ability to convert business needs into sound SAP solutions

• Bring an analytical mind and would like to work in a fast-paced environment

• Might know agile methods and the SAFe framework, but it is no requirement – we will give you the necessary training

• Have the flexibility to travel around 10-30 days a year to partake in implementation projects at our global sites and factories

• Speak and write English effortlessly, which enables you to communicate with both IT and business stakeholders, tailoring your language accordingly.
