We are looking for new Public Founding Professional to join Public Funding team. The Public Funding team goal is to maximize public funding for SE Wind Power. Public Funding is a very impactful activity for the company and, thus, has full support from the Leadership Team. A clear vision and a coordinated cross-functional effort has made it possible to ramp-up public funding to a three-digit million range.
We are a small but strong team that values teamwork and a friendly atmosphere. We prioritize efficiency, goal orientation and quality.
We analyze the overall mid- and long-term company strategy, identifying the topics that are eligible for funding. We coordinate the public funding process, from the identification of funding programmers to the application process, grant agreement signature and technical and financial reporting.
How to contribute to our vision
As part of the team, you will have a cross-functional role and will be involved in a variety of activities along the public funding process. You will focus on supporting the team with:
Management of the public funding approval process:
- Understanding the funding requirements, constraints and risks of new approvals
- Making sure the internal project owner understands the technical, financial, legal and administrative requirements.
- Supporting the project owner throughout the approval process
- Interfacing with the funding authority.
Management of the public funding reporting process:
- Supporting the project owner throughout the project life, with regular follow-up meetings if needed.
- Supporting the project owner when an issue is identified.
- Interfacing with the funding authority.
Submission of high-quality funding proposals:
- Making sure the project is relevant for our company and the long-term commitments are well understood.
- Gathering and putting together technical, financial, legal and administrative information
- Interfacing with external consultants
- Interfacing with several areas of the organization.
- Making sure the deadline for submission is met and the quality of the application is high.
Strengthening the internal Public Funding network (e.g. Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, PPM, Legal, Corporate Affairs, ON and OF)
You will also contribute to:
- Getting a deep understanding of SE Wind Power overall strategy and project portfolio, with main focus on R&D and manufacturing activity.
- Identification of funding opportunities, through the cross-analysis of the portfolio and the available funding programs.
- Strengthening the external Public Funding network:
- Interfacing with institutional stakeholders to support the launching and adequate shaping of Public Funding programs (at regional, national and EU level)
- Interfacing with industrial/sectorial associations and organisms.
- Interfacing with academia, customers and suppliers around public funding programs and projects.
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
Professional experience and skills
- Excellent team player, to contribute to the Public Funding team, as well as to cross-functional teams.
- High social skills, to effectively interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, in very formal and not so formal environments.
- Goal oriented professional.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and to work under time pressure, while keeping stress. level low.
- Flexibility to deal with tasks covering different areas of expertise: technical, financial, legal…
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Command of regular Office programs: Power Point, Excel, Word.
- Project management skills will be valued.
- Knowledge of SAP will be appreciated.
- Experience with Public Funding topics will be appreciated but is not a must.
Language Skills
- High level of English (oral and written).
- Excellent command of Danish and/or German is a must.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
