Vestas is looking for a Senior Product Cost Specialist to join our innovative Offshore Product Management team. In this key role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce costs and maximize value in the development of our advanced offshore wind turbines. Responsibilities
As a Senior Specialist in Strategic Cost Optimization, you will have an integral part in facilitating efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainable growth within our organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring effective resource allocation. Here are the key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities across the full value chain, i.e., Direct Product Cost (DPC), Manufacturing, Transport, Construction, and Service
  • Work closely with senior leadership to create insightful reports and dashboards for decision-making
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of operational processes, supply chain, and overhead expenses to uncover inefficiencies
  • Develop and implement actionable recommendations to optimize costs while maintaining quality and performance
  • Strategic planning, execution and monitoring aimed at achieving long-term cost savings
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Benchmark our cost structures against industry peers and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cost optimization and financial analysis, ideally in management consulting
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience, ideally in management consulting, cost optimization, financial analysis, or management consulting
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling software, and data visualization platforms
  • Fluent in English
