The role
Are you passionate about children's content and have strong organizational and communication skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Viaplay is looking for a Content Planner & Curator to join our Stockholm office and manage our Kids Content Curation.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and curating content for the Kids section, ensuring that prioritized content is effectively scheduled and promoted. This includes managing metadata quality and overseeing content planning, scheduling, and coordination to maintain a dynamic and engaging Kids lineup throughout the year across Viaplay Nordics.

Content Planning & Curation:
- Develop and implement content plans and title selections for the Kids section based on priorities and the editorial calendar.

- Request and customize promotional materials to support content planning activities.

- Ensure prioritized Kids content is featured prominently and meets performance expectations.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of Kids content blocks and titles.

- Utilize relevant technical tools for content planning and scheduling across multiple platforms.

Metadata Management:
- Source and manage metadata for Kids content across Viaplay Group brands and platforms.

- Maintain high metadata quality and create localizations specific to the Kids section across the Nordics.

- Ensure accurate categorization and compliance with metadata guidelines for all Kids titles.

- Handle Danish translations for Kids content including synopses, copy, and messaging.

- Coordinate with system managers for metadata improvements in our tools (e.g., Movida).

Content Scheduling & Coordination:
- Plan and schedule Kids content, ensuring alignment with the Editorial Kids Plan and content prioritization.

- Evaluate and analyze potential acquisitions, re-licenses, and new deals for Kids content, including ROI analysis.

- Serve as the internal point of contact for Kids content licenses, premiere dates, rights, and USPs at Viaplay Nordics.

- Collaborate with Content Operations and Media Coordinators to ensure timely delivery and publication of Kids content, creating Jira tickets as necessary.

- Update scheduling systems and communicate any changes internally.

- Monitor content performance and enhance content discovery for Kids programming.

External Activities:
- Engage with potential partners for external activities such as events and competitions related to Kids content.

- Coordinate and support participants in these events, ensuring successful execution.

What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

- A few years of experience in project management, content planning, or a similar role.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.

- Driven, engaged, and a team player who can work independently and confidently.

- An understanding of research and analysis with a creative approach to content planning.
- Basic skills in Photoshop, and familiar with systems like Airtable and Jira.

- Education in business, marketing, content management, or a related field.

- Ability to present ideas and plans convincingly and inspiringly.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with an understanding of business impact.

- Experience in media, entertainment, or content management, particularly for children’s programming, is a plus.
