The position
As an Energy Specialist in the CVP-area M2, you will be responsible for energy and environmental tasks across the CVP area, including:

  • Mapping energy and water usage, recommending savings, and calculating payback periods.
  • Optimizing energy, water, and waste management through modeling, leveraging your knowledge of mass balances and utility equipment.
  • Reporting and presenting the status of energy and environmental performance, with a focus on unit operations and production-scale consumption.
  • Developing reliable forecasting models to enhance the predictability of energy, water, wastewater, and waste consumption.
  • Conducting environmental and energy assessments, planning actions for improvements, and supporting new projects.

You will report to the Project Team Manager and Environment & Energy Team, working closely with colleagues in a positive and supportive atmosphere. We value thorough onboarding and encourage personal and professional development.

The position is based in Kalundborg with the option to work from home one day a week.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, it is required that you:

  • Hold at least an academic bachelor’s degree within a relevant area.
  • Have strong relevant experience within energy and environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Danish as legislation and communication with authorities are written in Danish.
  • Have a strong data-driven approach as you will have to handle a lot of data and numbers.

As a person, you are very structured and work independently across a broad stakeholder landscape. You can cooperate with people who have different perspectives and priorities. With your pragmatic and facilitating skills, you create an overview and common prioritizations between many activities.

About the department
We are part of Business Support in M2, API, which produce bulk Insulin for a various number of Insulin products.

Business Support is a department, focusing on projects, environment and energy, training, LEAN, and finance, all crucial for securing capacity to meet future demand.

We are currently a team of 11 employees consisting of process engineers and technicians with different professional backgrounds.
