The position
As Supply Chain Professional in our Temperature Monitoring Device (TMD) support function, you will play a crucial role in managing one of our suppliers and overseeing the deployment of temperature loggers, providing essential support to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our sending and receiving sites, while fostering strong collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the vendor liaison to ensure timely and efficient supply of temperature monitors
• Providing user support, including training and troubleshooting assistance, to ensure effective utilization of temperature monitors
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes
• Ensuring seamless integration of temperature monitors into logistics operations
• Conducting regular assessments with stakeholders and holding business review meetings with suppliers to verify performance and proactively address any issues
• Driving the development of robust and efficient processes for temperature logger usage to uphold product quality standards and regulatory compliance, emphasizing a quality-driven approach

Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with:

• A relevant educational background in shipping, supply chain, or quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in these areas
• Strong understanding of temperature logger and platform technology and its application in supply chain management
• Fluency in written and spoken English and proficiency in MS Office

You are naturally curious, ambitious, and adept at building trusting relationships across organizational levels. You have a keen interest in supply chain and logistics processes, identifying opportunities to proactively address potential issues while championing a quality-driven mindset. Additionally, you are a skilled communicator, capable of making effective recommendations, presenting findings, and confidently setting directions while constructively challenging at all levels of the organization.

About the department
Logistics & Distribution (L&D) is a central Supply Chain & Business Development organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance. We are app. 60 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 10 in Bangalore (India)

The department​​​ is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the financial impact. Furthermore, we have the responsibility for storage of GxP products, covering both in- and outbound distribution.

While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
