The Role

As the Global Head of Channel, you will be responsible for Heimdal's channel strategy, operations and revenue globally. You will help set the overall strategy for our Channel motion, and execute on that. You will lead, nurture, and coach the Channel team members and work together to further enable existing partners, but also recruit, onboard, and enable new strategic channel partners to drive revenue growth.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations to drive profitable partner revenue growth. You have a strong track record in SaaS channel sales and are passionate about IT security and cloud technologies.

You will report to Ken, our VP Sales. You are preferably based in or around London, UK or Copenhagen, Denmark.

Your day-to-day

  • Ensuring senior executive-level visibility and commitment for the various Heimdal relationships
  • Driving joint opportunity development activities with our partners through account mapping, marketing activities, coordinating marketing budgets and channel marketing programs.
  • Owning the channel forecasting to the business. Managing all aspects of partner forecasting and pipeline with the team and their partners.
  • Supporting and assisting with managing existing partnerships, as well as recruiting and onboarding new partners.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Partner Business Plans with the team for each focus partner and ensure review cadence is in place, i.e. QBRs.
  • Aligning the channel strategy with your team; understand their coverage models and partner strategies, target accounts, verticals, geography, and market coverage.
  • Creating a sense of "engagement and connection" with executives and sales- and support resources, both inside and outside the business.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Channel professionals and support their success through frequent 1-1's, performance reviews, and feedback.

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with high adaptability and positive attitude.

What you bring to the team

  • 5+ years in a channel role at a SaaS company
  • 3+ years in a leadership capacity, running channel sales across EMEA. North America channel leadership is a plus
  • Background in IT security/cloud technologies/cybersecurity
  • Proven experience in running a partner-lred strategy in a high-growth business
  • Good understanding of the security and threat vendor landscape
  • Have a strong technical understanding, system knowledge, and processes to manage strategic partnerships
  • Experience with Salesforce-com and other sales/productivity tools.

The hiring process

We will start reviewing applications mid-October and thereafter on an ongoing basis. The process will consist of a number of interviews with relevant stakeholders, pre-employment assessment consisting of personality profile and EQ assessment, and a case/panel discussion.
