Legal Counsel - Intellectual Property Team

THE TEAM
You will become part of a legal department of 20 highly skilled and engaged colleagues and work in an environment which is characterized by an informal tone, but also a high degree of professionalism. We have a very close relation to the business, participating in various key decisions and projects, and as Legal Counsel in our IP team you will help implement and navigate our IP strategy across the business focusing on building close working relationships not only to your colleagues in the IP team but also to your colleagues across our brands.

THE ROLE
At United Law you will get a challenging role where you will handle a variety of different tasks within intellectual property. As Legal Counsel in a constantly moving organization you will work with a wide range of tasks and projects; both independently, together with colleagues in the legal department as well as with stakeholders across the business. Your tasks will be within the area of intellectual property and will among others include:

• Managing our trademark portfolio,
• Providing advice and sparring on trademark administration and enforcement
• Anchoring our IP strategy through your advice and ongoing training of the business
• Providing high-quality legal advice on various intellectual property matters

Therefore, it is important that you have a positive energy are straightforward, unpretentious, proactive, and able to communicate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels in the organization. To be successful in the position, it is important that you are detail-orientated, have a high professional level and always strive to achieve the highest standard in your legal work.

More specifically we are looking for someone who:

• Holds a master’s degree within law (cand.jur or cand.merc.jur)
• Has minimum 5 years of experience from a law firm or in-house legal department or similar relevant work experience
• Has extensive experience working with trademarks from the private sector or relevant authorities
• Is fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken
