Team and Role
As a Software Architect, you will work closely with a dedicated team of talented professionals, collaborating with the architect and other engineers to shape and influence the technical direction of our products. You will be involved in technical discussions, influencing decisions on software architecture and design. Our collaborative environment encourages idea sharing and innovation, ensuring that everyone contributes to the product’s future.
We work with a diverse technology stack, including Java, C++, C, Python, and tools like Docker, Bazel, Jenkins, and Linux. While the primary focus is on embedded and backend development, we also place a strong emphasis on best practices, including early testing, quality assurance, and continuous knowledge sharing. These practices are not just values but core principles that guide our work, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the architect and the team, participate in technical discussions, and influence the technical direction of our products.
• Designing and communicating software architectures, from high-level overviews to detailed technical designs.
• Creating clear architectural diagrams.
• Defining architecture standards and best practices.
• Assisting the teams developing features (Java/C++).
• Deriving technical requirements to guide development.
• Assisting with project estimations by providing scope, complexity, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing robust and testable systems.
• Proficiency in communicating architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of architecture patterns (layered, hexagonal, etc.).
• Expertise in drawing both high-level and detailed technical architecture.
• Knowledge of the C4 model or similar for architectural visualization.
• API design, system integration, and hardware integration knowledge.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

We are looking for someone with a solid foundation of practical, hands-on technical experience. You should be comfortable working directly with the technology and able to dive into code, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions with confidence. Your experience should cover a wide range of tools, languages, and platforms, demonstrating a all-round understanding of modern software development.

A broad knowledge of software methodologies is essential, as you will be expected to apply different approaches based on the needs of the project. Whether it is Agile, DevOps, or traditional development cycles, your ability to navigate and adapt to various methodologies will ensure project success.

Leadership is another key expectation. You will not only be a technical expert but also a guiding force for the team, capable of setting the technical direction and inspiring others to follow. Your ability to lead by example, make informed decisions, and mentor others will be crucial in driving the team toward success.

We are looking for a Software Architect or a Senior Developer eager to step into the role. You should have a desire to shape the technical direction of projects, making high-level decisions on design and architecture. If you are not already in an architect role, you should be motivated to develop the skills and perspective necessary to grow into one
