What will your day look like?
As a Solution Consultant, you will help our clients grow by researching, analyzing, understanding, and documenting client needs and solutions. In the solution consulting team, we help our clients connect business and technology by analyzing business requirements and creating solution designs and roadmaps to put in place the technology that meets their needs.
As such, you will work alongside Account Directors, Data Specialists, Business Consultants, and Content Strategists, amongst others.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Analyzing and documenting client business requirements for marketing automation and personalization solutions, taking into account the client business strategy and objectives as well as technical, data, organizational, and creative context.
  • Researching, evaluating, and documenting new technology vendors and products in the market to help evaluate the potential fit with VML MAP’s offerings and client business requirements.
  • Researching, documenting and evangelizing best practice solutions to our client service teams to help increase the take-up of best practice across our clients.

Your work will depend on collaboration with the broader organization, which means that you will get to collaborate closely with experts and professionals from our technology, data, experience design and client teams from our other offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Canada and Thailand. What do you bring to the table?
As a Solution Consultant, we don't expect you to have 20 years of experience, but we do expect you to bring the right talent, mindset, and personality. You are an easy-going and likable person who is proactive, independent and responsible. You also appear as a helpful team player who enjoys working with a team towards a common goal. You always do your best to deliver the best possible solutions despite any challenges that may arise.

You have a deep interest in digital technology, you are curious and a fast learner, your thinking is structured and analytical, yet creative in problem-solving and adaptable to quickly changing project contexts and goals. Moreover, you are comfortable presenting and communicating complex technology solutions in speech, writing and PowerPoint to both tech and business people, and interacting with client stakeholders on all levels in English.

In addition, you have:

  • Professional experience with marketing automation, personalization and digital marketing technology.
  • An understanding of marketing processes, organization and value creation.
  • An ability to speak with different levels of stakeholders within an organization, from CTO to business stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis is a plus.
