Core Responsibilities
As Senior Process Engineer in our Equipment Development team, you will be taking part in implementing, improving and maintaining a global fleet of both metal and polymer 3D printers. Building and maintaining the standards, workflows and guides to ensure a consistent, standardized and efficient platform with a special focus on quality control.

To be specific your tasks will be to:

  • Ensure quality performance of the Additive Manufacturing platform leading the calibration process and tracking the status of machines.
  • Create, improve and maintain part quality assurance processes.
  • Drive improvement initiatives to achieve better quality, cost or speed.
  • Ensure standardization of processes and documentation.
  • Monitor performance via KPI tracking and BI reporting on equipment, identify trends and act on these.
  • Actively engage with AM suppliers and the teams on factory sites to maintain our high-quality standard and our ways of working.

Based in our office in Billund, you will join our Additive Design & Manufacturing Equipment Development team.

We work across 3 different technologies divided between polymer and metal all of which we are constantly pushing the limits for to deliver efficiency in our supply chain and to drive the AM industry and its technologies towards true large-scale manufacturing!

Together with colleagues and internal customers our focus is to ensure delivery of the selected equipment within the right quality, requirements and lead-time.

We are part of a bigger and diverse team focusing on the research and development of design methodologies and technologies, production technologies, materials, and applications. We are focusing on both metal and polymer AM production for different applications and with different partners.

Do you have what it takes?
We imagine that you are a team-player with excellent communication skills that enables you to build positive relationships, and to convey a clear message to those around you. You are pro-active and take initiative, while being able to work in an over-changing and challenging environment. In addition, you have:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Additive Manufacturing (metal and/or polymer)
  • Process and/or Quality Engineering related experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset, data analysis, reporting and BI skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and navigate complex challenges
  • Experience working with root cause analysis tools and troubleshooting.
  • Organized and structured approach
  • Proficiency in English written and verbally
  • Metrology experience such as CMM, 3D or CT scanning is an advantage.
