Deliver Strategic Commercial projects and Digital Transformation
As the Director, Sales & Commercial Projects, you will play a crucial role in shaping the commercial future of Oticon Medical. The role of Director, Sales & Commercial projects is a central role in the global sales organization of Oticon Medical, with responsibility to plan, implement and follow-up on commercial projects in a global sales organization. You will also be the one responsible the implementation our global CRM project and other digital initiatives.

Oticon Medical is in an exciting transition period, where we gradually are asked to take more responsibility for a global sales organization, including more than 25 countries and 110 people. We are tasked with planning for a separation from the current structure, and a transition to a new owner. The first project will be related to this separation and is expected to be the main task for the next 2 years. The Director, Sales & commercial projects will lead the project of a success carve-out of the sales organization and transition to a new owner.

You will report to the VP Sales, based in Gothenburg. The role can be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Sophie Antipolis, France or Copenhagen, Denmark. We offer flexible work-from-home options.

Joining us your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and Implement: Plan, implement, and follow up on global commercial projects. First years will be full focus on transition project.
  • Create impact: Project management, business separation and organizational change.
  • Digital Transformation: Spearhead our global CRM project and other digital initiatives.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a profile with a solid commercial understanding and with great organizational skills, as well as great interpersonal skills. Your organizational skills shine when collaborating with multiple stakeholders to discover, initiate, and sustain progress on commercial projects. You have a keen eye and interest in the details, but at the same time manage to keep the overview and see synergies across markets.

For you to thrive in this role, we expect that you can build on established local and global practices and support the local markets to realize their full potential.

In this role you should expect approx. 20-40 global travel days per year.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, management or similar expected
  • Experience working in a global sales organization, a matrix organization would be beneficial
  • Experience from MedTech industry or a highly regulated industry
  • Experience with implementation of global CRM systems and change management
  • Experience with carve-out or M&A is plus

We expect you to be fluent in English language skills, as it is our company language, additional languages are beneficial.
