Job Objective
As accounts administrator you will work on processing invoices in a timely manner.
This role is a key enabler to the smooth running of AP matters and ensuring the smooth running of all AP related matters.
Duties and Responsibilites
Performance
- Provide cover for different roles within AP.
- Generating PO’s, processing invoices.
- Review and match supplier invoices to PO receipts, addressing any discrepancies.
- Organising & processing weekly supplier payment runs.
- Reconciling monthly vendor statements.
- Act as a point of contact for AP queries.
- Adhere to internal procedures for authorizing new supplier setup and verifying changes in supplier details.
- Reviewing and processing feed mill invoices.
- Ensuring daily work tasks are completed while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ad hoc duties where necessary.
Compliance
- Provide detailed information and facts to support important standards and measures.
- Collate information to enable achievement of targets.
- Comply with relevant HR policies, procedures and practices.
- Comply with company reporting needs.
- Proactively identify and correct risks.
People & Culture
- Behave in a manner that supports and demonstrates Company values, Challenge, Sense of Urgency & Openness.
Requirements
Experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment.
- Experience using Verify, Softco & Navision (Beneficial not essential)
Educational Qualifications
- Administration course beneficial but not essential
