This is an opportunity to get a front-row seat at Falck’s corporate strategy process. You will share your journey with the rest of the Global Strategy team, including the Senior Director, Head of Strategy, who started out his career in a similar role.
The ambition is for you to be part of the strategy team 2-3 years and afterwards transition into your next role in another group function or in one of the business units. This is allowing you and Falck to utilize and further develop your toolbox in the best possible way.

About the job

In this role, you will be a key player in our Global Strategy Office, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Head of Global Strategy. You will have the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of our company, working closely with our executive management, Business Units, and Global functions.

As Global Strategy Manager you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the development and implementation of strategic projects, both at the corporate and Business Unit level.
• Assisting colleagues and team members in defining and scoping strategic projects in close collaboration with the executive management as well as relevant Business Units and Global functions.
• Supporting the annual strategic review for the Board and Executive management.
• Structuring and driving recurring competitor mapping.
• Assisting the process for ongoing follow-up of the strategic activities anchored in Falck’s Investment Committee.
• Providing ad hoc support and sparring for the CEO and CFO.
• Assisting and participating in the facilitation of workshops.

About you Our next employee comes with proven experience with corporate strategy and business development and / or transformation projects. In addition, we imagine that you have:

• Approximately 2-5 years of experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, private equity, or from investment banking/corporate finance.
• Alternatively, experience from a similar position in a corporate strategy department within an international company
• Start-up and/or experience from working abroad is a plus.
• A solid analytical toolbox – hypothesis driven analyses and data driven decision making.
• Stellar structured problem-solving skills.
• Proven project management skills.
• Solid stakeholder management skills.
• Natural communication and storytelling skills.
• A creative mindset, especially when facilitating workshops and presenting complex matters.
• A high energy level and the ability to work efficiently.

The Global Strategy team is a 4-person agile team, continuously navigating within a diverse and senior stakeholder landscape.
Global Strategy is part of Corporate Development and Affairs (CDA), which in addition to Global Strategy consists of Communication, Branding, Public Affairs & Sustainability, Executive Office, Quality, Risk & Safety, Global Innovation and People & Culture.
