HR Business Partner with Nordic Outlook

About your role and the team
As our next HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR processes and initiatives that help GlobalConnect grow and thrive by supporting our leaders making the right decisions. You’ll work alongside senior leadership teams to bring our business strategy to life through people-focused solutions, and you’ll be involved in diverse and impactful projects focused on driving strategic change and impact throughout the organization.

You’ll be joining a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative People & Culture team of +20 professionals within HRBP, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition that spans across multiple countries, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Germany. We’re all about sharing knowledge, growing together, and making time to connect and have fun!

You’ll be part of our People Business Partnering team made up of senior colleagues based in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Each owns specific business units, and while we operate independently, we work closely to stay aligned across the entire organization, share challenges and insights, celebrate success, and support one another.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and their teams, providing strategic HR guidance.
  • Develop and empower your designated leadership teams by driving central people processes such as leader review, succession planning, performance appraisals, and salary review.
  • Collaborate on strategic people initiatives, supporting, shaping and facilitating unit-specific initiatives, and translating business strategies into actionable people plans. E.g. designing and facilitating workshops with management to foster a culture of collaboration and high engagement.
  • Enhance and evolve central HR practices and processes, always with an eye on continuous improvement, so we can build a strong foundation for the future.

In sum, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference, working as both a key driver of initiatives and a collaborative team player who fosters partnerships and brings our "one culture" values to life across the organization.

What you’ll bring to the Team

  • A solid understanding of business and HR, paired with an extensive HR toolkit that enables you to manage your own BP area and have insightful dialogues with senior leaders.
  • Great communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to navigate a matrix organization and collaborate effectively with both the business and your People & Culture colleagues.
  • A knack for achieving results through a thoughtful mix of patience, firmness, structure, and stakeholder management.
  • An optimistic, flexible and pragmatic personality with a growth mindset focused on improving things for the better.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Experience as a strategic people business partner within a complex matrix organization, and ideally you are used to working with leaders in different countries.
  • Proven experience working with organizational changes, re-organizations, team and leadership development and engagement, and providing advice to senior leadership in their decision making.
  • Knowledge of Danish employment legislation and how it affects key people processes.
  • Fluent in Danish with full work proficiency in English. Norwegian, or Swedish is a plus.

Location and travel
The position is based in our Copenhagen office and involves some travels to our other locations in Norway and Sweden. If you’re exited by the prospect of working across borders and bringing people together, this is the role for you!
