Good news! We are looking for a Business Risk Manager – BCCM Champion - to join the Management Oversight team in Nordea Finance, to be a part of ensuring that Nordea remains a safe, resilient, and trusted bank for our customers.

About this opportunity Nordea Finance Management Oversight provides risk management support to all Nordea Finance units in all countries. As a Business Risk Manager, you will coordinate the business continuity program for Nordea Finance and collaborate with functional team, BCCM Analysis & Continuity Planning, responsible for developing and implementing plans and strategies to ensure that Nordea can continue to operate and recover from any potential disruptions or crises.

What your day will look like:

  • Monitor and report on the performance and progress of the relevant activities and initiatives.
  • Ensure respective plans and documents are updated periodically, or when changes occur in the business environment.
  • Coordinate and facilitate exercises to validate the effectiveness and readiness of the business continuity plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and align activities within Nordic BCM Champions.
  • Ensure compliance with Nordea and regulatory body policies and procedures.
  • Support business areas during incidents and invocation of Business Continuity Plans due to business impacting events.
  • Provide support and advice to the FRT (First Response Team) members.
  • Facilitating meetings with the business and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for the staff and management on resiliency concepts and practices.
  • Follow up on issue closure, and when needed, support Nordea Finance units in issue closure.
  • Risk reporting, both to provide input to reports created by other units and create reports
  • Support in various risk processes, such as e.g. RCSA, CRMA, Product Approval, BCCM, Incident handling.
  • Build and maintaining risk awareness and strong risk culture in Nordea Finance.

Your experience and background:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Experience in managing business continuity or risk management programs.
  • Presentation/ communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation, training, and reporting.
  • Professional level of both spoken and written English.
