Job Summary
Join our dynamic team in Singapore, where finance meets operational excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial processes, from ledger management to operational liaison.
Your Role
Accounts Receivable
- Manage collections procedure with key clients.
- Provide timely updates on balances to respective departments.
- Prepare prescribed ageing reports and materials for internal meetings and discussions.
Ledger
- Ensure accurate cost centre postings from the Transport Management System (TMS) and manage direct ledger entries.
- Monthly closing activities including journal entries.
- Submit quarterly GST reports to the statutory body.
- Meet weekly and monthly financial commitments as directed by the Finance Manager.
- Oversee bookkeeping function of smaller entities in the region
- Ensure compliance to policies and standards set out by local office and HQ.
- Utilise accounting software and BI to derive insights on performance and room for improvement.
Operations
- Assist in schedule preparation for audits and internal reporting.
- Acts as contact person on TMS and finance-related queries.
Your Background
- Proficient in English to communicate across different teams globally
- Comfortable covering full scope of finance ranging from operational matters to management and statutory reporting
- Minimum 2 years of audit background preferred and/or experience in different finance functions, not limited to big 4 audit firms
- Prior experience in handling/reviewing GST filings is advantageous
- Comfortable working with large datasets.
- Strong team player.
