In this position, you will have the opportunity to represent a diverse product portfolio that includes both mature and cutting-edge innovations, helping to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of equine diseases and support equine welfare. You will get the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the equine field, not only within Denmark but across the Nordics, while building a strong professional network.

You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions to our Danish clients and partners, by shaping relationships with key customers, driving growth, and making a real impact in the world of equine health.

This position is based in Denmark and reports directly to the Business Unit Manager Equine Nordics.
Your key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the equine market across Denmark, to ensure our position as a trusted partner.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and offering optimal solutions for customer needs.
  • Drive sales and market growth by identifying new opportunities and maximizing existing partnerships.
  • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the internal team, including marketing, product, and sales support, to align strategies and deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to ensure you provide the best support and expertise.
  • Report on account performance, providing regular updates and insights to the leadership team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand our network and brand presence.

What should you bring to the team

  • Degree in Veterinary Sciences.
  • At least 3 years of professional and commercial experience in the equine industry (e.g. in similar role or from clinical practice).
  • Thorough understanding of the equine market and the needs of veterinarians, clinics, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Danish (fluent) and English languages.
  • Ability to develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Skilled at managing long-term relationships and providing exceptional client service.
  • Comfortable collaborating with different departments and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel between 20 to 30 days per year across the Nordic countries as you will be covering costumers in all of Denmark.
  • A positive mindset, a drive and energy towards results combined with great skills in creating and maintaining a good working atmosphere.
