About the role
We are looking for students to collaborate with our Project Excellence department on projects related to artificial intelligence. This opportunity allows you to work on innovative AI applications, develop your technical skills in real-world scenarios, and contribute to the optimization of project management processes in the life sciences industry. The collaboration can be part of your thesis or a project-based partnership as part of your degree, starting in Q1 of 2025 or whenever you begin your thesis.

In Project Excellence, our mission is to improve efficiency across our projects, ensuring milestones are met more effectively and increasing our overall project execution capacity. We strive to enhance processes from the start, ensuring we get it right the first time. By joining us, you’ll contribute to the development of LEAN methodologies and help us optimize how we manage large, complex pharmaceutical projects for our customers.

How you might spend your days
You will work on a real-world problem, applying AI tools and methods to improve how we manage our projects. Depending on the project scope, you may:

• Analyze current project processes, identifying key challenges, and propose AI-driven solutions.
  
• Develop and test AI models or software tools aimed at improving project workflows and efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with the Project Excellence team to explore innovative, AI-based approaches that drive continuous improvement.
  
• Engage in cross-disciplinary work, combining AI and project management to create actionable insights.
  
• Conduct pilots and trials to evaluate the effectiveness of your proposed AI solution(s).
  
• Assess costs and the ease of implementation, and provide forward-thinking recommendations on organizational impact, change management, and project leadership.
  
• Present your findings and deliverables to stakeholders, contributing to impactful changes in NNE’s operational processes.

Throughout the collaboration, you’ll receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues in Project Excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to be integrated into our team during the project period, attend meetings, present your work, and collaborate both on-site and remotely, with flexibility based on the project’s needs.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• Be in the later stages of a bachelor’s or master’s in a relevant engineering or technical field, such as artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, or a related discipline
  
• Have knowledge of artificial intelligence, data analysis, or machine learning
  
• Be comfortable with programming languages such as Python and familiar with AI frameworks like TensorFlow
  
• Speak and write both Danish and English.
