About the collaboration
We are looking for students to collaborate with our Manufacturing IT (MIT) department on AI-driven projects. This collaboration gives you the chance to apply cutting-edge AI solutions to improve manufacturing intelligence and optimize processes in the life sciences industry. Whether you’re in the final stages of your bachelor’s or master’s degree, this collaboration can form the basis of your thesis or a project-based partnership as part of your degree. The collaboration will start in Q1 of 2025, or whenever you begin your thesis.

How you might spend your days

Throughout your collaboration, you’ll be working on real-world problems, using AI tools and methods to drive innovation in manufacturing. Some of the activities you may engage in include:

• Analyzing current manufacturing processes, identifying key challenges, and proposing AI-driven solutions.
  
• Developing AI models aimed at enhancing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in Manufacturing Execution, Project Execution, and the Innovation department to explore AI solutions.
  
• Contributing to software solutions and process automation within the manufacturing domain.
  
• Presenting findings and insights to stakeholders, making a real impact on manufacturing intelligence at Novo Nordisk Engineering.

You will receive support and mentorship from experienced colleagues in the MIT department. This includes opportunities to participate in team meetings, present your work, and engage both remotely and on-site depending on project needs and your preferences.
