We are looking for an additional colleague to join us as a Process Change Manager in Pricing Management within the Health & Medical (HM) Business Unit.

HM encompasses the Incontinence Products Health Care and Medical Solutions categories. The portfolio includes incontinence products, wound care, compression therapy, orthopedics, skincare products and digital solutions with sensor technology. Distribution channels for the products are pharmacies, medical devices stores, hospitals, distributors and care institutions as well as online.

About the Role:
Do you have experience in Pricing Management and enjoy working in an international environment? Within Essity’s Business Unit, Health & Medicals, we are seeking a candidate who is curious to understand and thrive in a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to identify commonalities to standardize our pricing processes as much as possible across different markets. At the same time, they will be perceptive enough to recognize when adaptations are necessary for local needs.

As a Process Change Manager, you will contribute to our company’s success and profitability by securing state-of-the-art pricing processes. You will ensure that our teams have the best IT tools to support their daily work, adhere to our standards and compliance policies, and that all necessary standard operational procedures for our pricing processes are available and updated. You will be part of a team with three colleagues and report to the Pricing Director, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. You could be based in any of these Essity locations in Europe: Gothenburg, Alleröd, Mainz-Kostheim, Munich, Warsaw, Paris.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement change projects within pricing management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Pricing Management and other stakeholders to ensure successful project deliveries.
  • Evaluate and improve local business processes in relation to systems and processes.
  • Develop and recommend new ways of working for pilot projects.
  • Identify gaps and suggest a roadmap to achieve our desired way of working.
  • Secure the availability of necessary support tools.
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure that standard operational procedures (SOPs) are available and updated.
  • Ensure that business processes are aligned with our overall goals and strategies.

The main stakeholders in this role are:

  • Key Account Managers in the markets.
  • Business Directors in the markets.
  • Back-office teams handling agreements, tenders, and pricing (sales analysts, pricing responsible, contract responsible).
  • Controllers.

Who You Are
We are looking for a curious problem solver with strong analytical skills and a holistic mindset. You are an agile team worker with the ability to work at a high pace and manage changing priorities. You can also work autonomously while collaborating with and influencing decision-making stakeholders in a matrix organization. It comes naturally for you to coach, teach, and share your knowledge with colleagues in other functions. Finally, you enjoy working with diverse teams across functions and geographies, bringing out the best in your colleagues.

  • Strong business acumen and visionary thinking.
  • Experience working with Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems, particularly in condition management.
  • Experience in pricing management within the med tech industry, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with pricing management, preferably in an international environment.
  • Ability to handle high complexity and a sometimes-unstructured work environment.
  • Excellent ability to cope with uncertainty
  • University Degree in Finance, Marketing, or similar.
  • Fluent in English.
