Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Plant Controller. As Plant Controller you will manage, control, and analyze the financial development and act as business partner to the plant operational leadership team. You will work closely together with the BU controller as well as other company finance functions.

In this role you will become part of the controlling group supporting both Orbital and Gears Solution, that has a well-established financial system and many years of experience with the Danfoss behaviors and the younger Editron business that has a higher need for financial training and prepare the business for future growth.

For the right candidate you will have the opportunity for growth within a global organization by serving as the finance business partner for the plant manager and become part of the leadership team In Editron.

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Controller. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our operations. You treasure actively partnering with the business and will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also providing strategic insights to drive business performance.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and outlook to support business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identifying areas to provide guidance to improvement and cost-saving opportunities to the management team.
  • Prepare timely weekly and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations (incl. KPI reporting, analysis and trends).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization and process improvements, e. g. inventory control.
  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of the annual budget ensuring total plant budget meets targets provided by BU Controller/Leadership.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and communicating risks and opportunities to Management Team resulting from analysis. Make proposal for correction and improvements.
  • Assisting project leaders in preparation of new AFE's, PDP & DCF models, localizations and follow-up.

Background & Skills
You hold as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration complemented by experience from a job within finance after graduation.

Furthermore, we expect you to have:

  • Manufacturing accounting background and a solid understanding of financial accounting systems, corporate financial policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.

On the personal side, your analytical skills, problem-solving capability, and technical knowledge support you in preparing, analyzing, and understanding financial and operational data. You are curious by nature, seeks for improvements and acts on irregularities.

You also show strategic thinking and business acumen, acting as a business partner who sees the big picture.
