Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a student assistant with a strong interest within programming and data processing, to help our team of cost estimators in the Global Sales organization. You will be part of a small, dynamic team of highly skilled engineers, and we are counting on you to help us with a variety of tasks including programming primarily in Excel and data processing.

To succeed in the role, you are IT savvy, and you are eager to bring new ideas to the table, helping us improve workflows and develop tools. You set high standards and consistently meet and surpass them.

We expect you to work around 15 hours weekly - possibly more during summer breaks and we are of course flexible during exam periods.

Here are some of the things you can expect to be doing:

• Developing and maintaining cost estimation tools and databases primarily in Excel including macros and VBA-code (can be learnt in-house).
• Gather data and updates from different sources and ensure that the information is available for cost estimation.
• Support with digitalization, standardization and automation processes.
• Bring new ideas about how we can improve our workflows and develop new tools to support our daily work.
• Managing different databases in Microsoft Access

What you’ll bring
You have a passion for new technologies and programming, combined with some understanding of industrial chemical processes. We are looking for a person that can support the group with VBA competences, and ideally also some other open-source programming languages, and knowledge of databases.

Your main goal will be to focus on data, standardization, and automation of tasks in Cost Estimation, and we want to hear your ideas!

You are preferable well underway with your bachelor and expect to do a master as well.

You speak English fluently – and knowledge of Danish is an advantage.
