Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Business Analytics Specialist to help maintain best practice frameworks for data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI), data modelling, and storage.

What will you do?
As our new Business Analytics Specialist you will maintain procedures for data quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and calculations. Furthermore, you will provide data and measures in a ready-to-read state for departments to build reports in visualization tools such as Power BI.

Your main tasks include:

• Assist with the maintenance of data and the data warehouse infrastructure to ensure availability and high performance.
• Cleaning, formatting, and other preparation of data for output into visualization.
• Assist with projects for scoping out new systems, improvements on existing system and version upgrades.
• Assist with Ad-hoc report building and visualizations for non-financial reports.
• Assist with master data management.

We think you will be a good match if you:

• University degree in relevant areas such as computing, statistics, or mathematical.
• Relevant experience from similar positions (including internships).
• Ability and willingness to learn programming languages including (but not limited to): DAX, creation of measures, SQL, Python.
• Ability and willingness to learn data warehousing techniques and software such as Snowflake.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Web Service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Innovative solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in speaking and written English.
