About You
You are a compassionate professional who has a strong attention for detail and consistently delivers high-quality work while nurturing an inclusive team, and a positive and entrepreneurial office environment. You will act as a crucial team member to the Americas Operations team providing support to our human resources and recruiting function. As an integral part of a dynamic office, you can calmly juggle multiple tasks that will range in intensity and priority and exercise excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills. You also have a passion for social impact issues and value a fast-paced work environment with opportunities to learn and grow professionally.

Typical qualifications for a LatAm Operations Associate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., administrative support or internships) required
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in human resources, recruiting, or operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong judgement, ability to use discretion, and experience working effectively with staff and senior management, with a proactive, responsive and collaborative work style
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and perform well in a growing and entrepreneurial organization, and/or within professional services and/or social sector
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and experience or ability to learn various HRIS/talent management tools
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (both in-office and remotely as needed) and adaptability to collaborate across various time zones
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required

WHAt You Will Do and How You Will Grow
The LatAm Operations Associate is a critical member of the Dalberg Americas Operations team supporting Dalberg’s 6 locations in the Americas: Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Bogotá, and Mexico City. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the LatAm Ops Associate will support various Human Resources and Recruiting responsibilities. The LatAm Ops Associate also works closely with global counterparts to ensure uniform and integrated operations across Dalberg offices worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead the onboarding process, managing all training, legal, and system requirements ensuring a smooth transition. Coordinate offboarding, handling payroll and benefits, and other exit documentation.
  • Semi-Annual Review Coordination: Lead the scheduling and preparation of materials for Semi-Annual Review meetings. Manage promotion announcements and coordinate post-review activities.
  • LatAm HR Support: Assist with visa verification, HR documentation, and leave management. Ensure updates are communicated to relevant teams.
  • LatAm Recruitment: Manage the LatAm recruitment process from job posting to offer letter issuance, including screening candidates and scheduling interviews.

Our current opportunity is in Mexico City.

Salary: The monthly compensation for this role ranges from MXP $36,200 – MXP $36,600. Our salary structure is designed to be in line with that of non-profit and social impact organizations, reflecting our dedication to social impact work. This is distinct from management consultancies, which predominantly cater to commercial clients.

Staff will be expected to work near our offices and work 2-3 days/week in the office.

Employment in Dalberg's Mexico City office is contingent on the candidate having the requisite authorization to live and work permanently in Mexico.
