As a Cloud Engineer at Milestone, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support AI and data platforms. Your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, will be critical in ensuring our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive cloud and DevOps initiatives and ensure the seamless deployment and management of applications.

Your Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues on various challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, to support AI and data platform initiatives.
• Help manage the deployment of scalable and secure cloud solutions for development and production environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate cloud-based services into AI and data workflows.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-based applications.
• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging cloud technologies, and best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps.

Are you the right candidate?
We are looking for a candidate who is self-driven and can excel in a dynamic work environment. Key qualifications include:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong proficiency in Python and scripting languages such as Bash.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with security practices for cloud infrastructure (e.g., IAM, VPC, encryption).
• Understanding of web development frameworks such as Django, along with knowledge of cloud-based application development.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing cloud infrastructure at scale, with a focus on AWS.
