The job

Here’s what the job entails
As the new Head of German Customer Operations, you will lead a team of six employees who support our German customer business and asset-backed trading. Your main focus will be on developing the team, setting clear goals and driving continuous improvement, which is key for our growth in a competitive energy market.

In collaboration with the Customer Operations & Reporting Management team, you will help develop the entire function by constantly challenging yourself and the other leaders to improve.

Concretely, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a curious and skilled team
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Optimising and documenting processes
  • Supervising the implementation of new products
  • Leading and participating in cross-functional projects

The team

Meet the team
You will join our German Customer Operations team, where we onboard new assets, such as wind farms and solar parks, maintain asset master data and manage customer requests to ensure data consistency and stable operations. We are committed to managing our operations in the most effective way with a strong focus on data quality.

Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!
We are looking for an empathetic and supportive leader who understands the needs and motivations of your team. We also picture you as a proactive leader who is eager to take on responsibility and who has a sharp focus on optimising processes and managing operations effectively. It is a plus if you have a data-driven and structured approach to problem-solving, as you will handle various cases that require thorough analysis for decision-making.

We also imagine that you:

  • have an education in finance, economics, IT or similar – but your experience is what truly matters to us
  • are familiar with coding in SQL and/or Power BI
  • have a proven track record of successful leadership
  • are fluent in English – both written and verbal

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
