Team and Role
As a Systems Engineer in Radar, you will play a central role in developing the right radar solutions and will be responsible for the overall system functionality and performance.
Your workday will be varied, as you switch between different work situations. Some tasks require you to work independently and concentrate on a development task or documentation, while in other situations, you will take on a coordinating role and solve issues in close collaboration with your colleagues and internal or external customers.
Due to your holistic approach to technical systems, you will become a key sparring partner for both the sales and development organizations and participate in bidding activities and solution descriptions prior to contract signing.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will cover:
- Interpret and break down user requirements and ensure that the overall system requirements are defined and documented.
- Break down the system requirement to element requirement as well as defining the interfaces between all system elements. These will often consist of software, electronic, and mechanical components.
- Lead the technical development of the overall system solution, as well as be responsible for system verification, validation and documentation on system level.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
- You have an education as a physicist, computer scientist, engineer, or similar.
- You have experience leading and executing complex and extensive system tests, focusing on ensuring quality and high stability.
- Experience with conducting acceptance tests and managing customer interactions will be an advantage.
- You ideally have relevant experience within systems engineering processes/standards such as INCOSE and ISO 15288 or similar.
- You are a strong and articulate communicator/instructor.
- Experience as a technical project manager, system architect, or technical lead on development projects is an advantage.
- You are proficient in English at a negotiation level, both written and spoken

- You have the ability to gain an overview of a complex system and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy and sometimes hectic environment.

- You can translate your creativity and innovative ability into realizable products.
- You can convey technically complex solutions in a versatile and engaging manner.
