The Position
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organisation on a mission to make a difference for patients living with chronic diseases in Denmark. As Head of Medical Affairs, you will manage a team of eight highly engaged employees and set direction for our medical communication, evidence generation and work with external stakeholders to ensure excellent understanding of our products and how they benefit the right patients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Affiliate Medical Affairs function by delivering on the medical strategies while enabling a thriving and inspirational working environment
  • Developing the Medical Affairs team to deliver high quality projects and cross-functional activity to meet evidence and communication needs of HCPs and payers
  • Communicating and collaboration with external clinical experts across current and future therapeutic areas
  • Ensuring cross-functional collaboration with internal local, regional and global stakeholders in addition to external stakeholders
  • Ensuring high quality in all activities and initiatives and carrying budget responsibility for Medical Affairs activities in Denmark

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a master’s degree in Life Sciences and extensive background in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical sector.

In addition, we expect you to come with:

  • Proficiency in navigating legislation and adhering to regulations for the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • People leadership and strategic planning experience with a demonstrated ability to leverage strong communication skills to drive influence and accomplish objectives
  • Strong enterprise and solution-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to make and communicate clear priorities
  • Fluent in Danish and English

About the Department
You'll play a vital role within our CMR LT team (Clinical, Medical, Safety, Regulatory and Customer Service Leadership Team), reporting directly to the Head of CMR Denmark.
