The Challenges that Await You
As our new colleague, you will join our Marketing department and support our Coffee business across the Nordic region. This will include building and strengthening the NESCAFÉ brand and coffee portfolio in the Nordic market, covering Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

This position is based at our Nordic Head Quarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, and you will report to the Nordic Head of Marketing for NESCAFÉ. Due to the Nordic setup of our organization, occasional travel across the Nordic region is to be expected.

Your main responsibility in this role will be to act as a strong brand lead for our NESCAFÉ soluble coffee portfolio in Denmark & Norway, as well as the Nordic portfolio lead for our NESCAFÉ coffee mixes. As part of this, a key task will be to translate the European coffee mixes strategy and innovation pipeline into a strong and relevant strategy for the Nordic countries, based on local opportunities, consumer understanding, and market needs. In addition to this, you will take the lead in analyzing sales performance, consumer behavior, and leveraging data to generate actionable and differentiated insights and brand plans.

Thus, in this role, key responsibilities will include:

  • As the brand lead for NESCAFÉ's soluble coffee business in Denmark and Norway; defining and implementing brand and portfolio strategies, as well as annual plans. Your objective will be to achieve targets in alignment with the business objectives, while working closely with the local commercial teams and brand colleagues.
  • Developing and leading the local portfolio strategy for our Nordic NESCAFÉ coffee mixes. This includes taking charge of end-to-end project management for product Innovation & Renovation (I&R) initiatives at the market level. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing business cases and trade presentations.
  • Leading the Nordic launches of new NESCAFÉ coffee product innovations, including market assessments and the development of business cases.
  • Leading coffee insights and data analytics (e.g., Nielsen Discovery, Kauza, Brand Health, Usage & Attitude, and Power BI), with the objective to identify opportunities and risks. As part of this, you will consolidate, structure, and analyze data for various performance trackers and reviews.
  • Effectively cooperating and aligning with key stakeholders in the Nordics, as well as our colleagues in the European and global teams.

Your experiences and qualifications
We imagine that you hold a relevant educational background within marketing, business administration, economics, or similar. In addition to this, you bring experience from a similar role, preferably from a large multinational organization. Fluency in English and at least one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish) is a must, together with excellent communication and presentation skills. We expect you to be an experienced Microsoft Office user and show advanced skills in data analytics.
