Our European team is looking for a new salesperson and colleague who is motivated by selling high-quality geospatial data, multidisciplinary projects, the latest technology and working with a team of highly skilled specialists.
Your base and primary market focus is German-speaking countries, but the entire EMEA region is basically your playground.
Geospatial Content Solutions (GCS) is part of Hexagon Geosystems, a leading global provider of measurement, data acquisition, processing and visualization technologies that enable users to collect, process, manage and present geospatial data. GCS includes over 600 highly skilled colleagues across multiple continents.
Our primary focus is the production of geospatial products based on airborne data capture, either by our own fleet of aircraft or in collaboration with partners and utilizing Hexagon's industry-leading imaging and LiDAR sensors.
THE ROLE
As Geospatial Content Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing the business and developing our product portfolio. You will be responsible for outreach and direct sales of geospatial data, as well as responding to tenders.
It is an advantage if you already have a good network in Germany.
The main tasks and focus points for this role is:
- Sales strategy development: Formulate effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Responding to tenders
- Maintaining overview of historical prices
- DACH tender monitoring
- Maintaining an overview of competitors including their equipment
- Updating Sales force
- Actively approaching possible clients to promote our services
International travel is part of the job but is expected to be at a moderate level for the time being.
YOUR PROFILE
We envisage that you have a relevant education and proven experience in selling geospatial data.
Further, we imagine you have:
- A hunter mentality and the ability to cultivate new business while nurturing existing key customers
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and the willingness to collaborate and engage at all levels of a complex organization
- Ability for strong strategic thinking and marketing
- Experience preparing proposals and conducting formal presentations via various delivery methods.
- Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
- A good understanding of German and European geodata markets.
- A professional attitude with humility, drive and a sense of humor.
- Good command of German and English at a professional level
