About the role
As thee Head of Finance for Cloud, Infrastructure & Data, you will lead Finance Business Partnering for Maersk’s Technology Services and Engineering (TSE) and Global Data & Analytics (GDA) organizations. You will provide strategic financial leadership, guidance, and support, ensuring the successful development and execution of financial strategies and performance management frameworks. This role requires a collaborative approach to drive transformation, advise on business decisions, and partner with technology leadership to optimize financial performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial performance management framework for TSE and GDA, ensuring alignment with Maersk’s strategic goals.
- Promote a high-performance, continuous improvement culture within the finance team, driving team engagement and development.
- Act as a trusted advisor on business decisions, investments, and strategic initiatives, providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Drive transformation and change management initiatives, focusing on organizational design, financial integration, and identifying the optimal financial structure, processes, and metrics.
- Actively participate as a member of the TSE and GDA leadership teams, challenging leadership to prioritize value for money and effective cost control.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with senior technology leaders, ensuring alignment and collaboration on financial planning and performance.
- Provide expert guidance to technology and finance leadership on the allocation of technology costs to segment and product P&Ls, ensuring accurate and strategic cost management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance, manage risks, and enhance value across the organization.
What are we looking for
- 7-10+ years of Finance Business Partner experience, preferably within a technology or data-driven environment.
- Proven track record of leadership, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong adaptability and the ability to navigate uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity with confidence.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present large volumes of information clearly, concisely, and in an actionable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
