Securities in Danske Bank is a Nordic leader in advising on, carrying out and facilitating transactions in cash equity and derivatives products supporting large corporate and institutional clients.
We are currently looking to expand our sales desk, responsible for advising and trading European equities to Institutional Clients. You will be servicing Danish based institutional- and large corporate clients and will be joining a small, professional and enthusiastic team with base in Copenhagen. You will be working closely with colleagues in a collaborative and flat hierarchy.
Advice Danish based institutional investors
Being part of the European Equites desk, you will actively be advising Danish based institutional investors on back of Danske Bank’s top-rated Scandinavian research product including our highly regarded European research product. No two days are alike; one day you will be providing clients with news flow, trading ideas and recommendations made by either yourself or by one of 80 Equity Analyst’s. Next day you might be monitoring, completing and discussing a trading strategy with a client.
Our desk covers more than 600 stocks in Europe; hosting, setting up and completing corporate c-level roadshows in Denmark are therefore an integral part of our business. We often attend seminars, trade fairs and conduct tailor-made fieldtrips in the US and Europe with clients, why 20-25 days of travel per year are expected.

We are looking for you with a relevant financial academic degree and a natural interest in the global equity market – if you also have some experience within this field, you will be a qualified candidate. But an important requirement is that you can communicate fluently in Danish & English.
You will get to contribute to the strategic agenda of our Securities business and encourage innovation through a business and data-drived approach. The role requires a considerable amount of discretionary decision-making and responsibility, and you will be key in our aspiration of strengthening our equity product to our clients.
