Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shipping Network Manager Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in shaping our transport strategy, ensuring efficiency, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across the company!

Core Responsibilities

  • Optimize our current transport flows together with relevant LEGO entities and our nominated transport suppliers
  • Operational ownership of our air, ocean, road and courier suppliers on a strategic operational level
  • Drive transport relevant projects
  • Develop and drive reports related to our area together with BI, IT and other internal collaborators
  • Identify and drive data integration & reporting
  • Collaboration with our Procurement Distribution team to support on transport tenders
  • Support and drive implementation of new transport suppliers
  • Business partner from a transport and logistic standpoint towards other LEGO entities (factories, hubs and other internal departments)

Your role is a key role within the Shipping Network Management team which is located in Billund

Our team supports the LEGO Group’s transport needs, primarily between our factory sites, Distribution Centers and from external suppliers - including managing vendor invoices, customs issues and IT integrations with our key transport and distribution suppliers

Do you have what it takes?

  • Solid transport and logistic background with in-dept knowledge on multiple transport modes
  • Experience and ability to work with many different cultures
  • Great collaborative skills in order to manage our transport suppliers and many collaborators
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytic skills and interest to structure data
  • GO DO approach – problems are to be solved
  • You take pride in doing the best you can
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
