What we are looking for and your focus
We are looking for a driven leader with strong professional competencies to head up our Nordic Payers & Evidence (P&E) team and continue developing our industry leading capabilities within P&E. Being based in Humlebæk (Denmark) or Kungsbacka (Sweden) you and your team will be cooperating closely with our local P&E resources in the Nordics, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing activities that enable optimal access for patients to Coloplast's range of innovative medical devices and services. Short-term you and your team will be pivotal in launching the latest technologies, solving some complex payer challenges and supporting the market development via evidence.
Furthermore, your responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:
- Lead and develop a high performing Nordic P&E team
- Develop and implement the Nordic P&E strategy in close collaboration with the markets and Nordic Leadership Team including an overview, priorities, evidence roadmaps and projects
- Collaborate with local market access functions across the Nordics organization to develop and implement strategic market access plans for specific Chronic Care innovations
- Responsible for submission of Ostomy applications to TLV and hands-on support in applications to HELFO
- Build effective value arguments and local evidence with supporting health economic and clinical data
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the external market access environment across the four markets (SE, DK, NO and FI)
- Support the local sales and marketing agendas with evidence and medical affairs support as required e.g. via Nordic Ad boards
- Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) and their organizational relationships in key stakeholder groups (payer, patient, and health care professionals)
- Support development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy
- Work with the Global teams to adapt global value strategy to the Nordics and provide input from the Nordics to relevant global functions.

Therefore, as a person, you need to be able to:

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with intricate planning and strong tactical execution within a matrix, cross-functional environment
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong scientific and business acumen, analytical skills, entrepreneurial attitude
- Fluent in Nordic languages and in English.
Functionally you may be “rounded” by different experiences, but having the following experiences under your belt is certain to increase the chance of success in your role:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in market access, medical affairs or health economics within the medical device/life science industry, with a comprehensive understanding of the pricing/reimbursement environment and the government/payer review process – preferably with time in a subsidiary
- Solid leadership experience, both as a direct and an indirect leader
- Understanding or experience in public relations and/or government affairs is considered a benefit, but not a requirement
- Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, economics, health economics or related discipline
- Knowledge and experience preparing and submitting reimbursement dossiers
- Ability to review and analyze business and medical data
- Ability to work competently in software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.
