How to contribute to our vision
For our Agile delivery team, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Release Train Engineer to lead our Scrum Teams in developing cutting-edge SCADA systems. The position is located in Skovlunde or Brande, Denmark.
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE’s major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
As RTE, you will align and oversee product and solution development activities to maximize organizational performance. You will manage the assigned organization unit, lead, motivate, and develop dedicated employees. You will implement guidelines and define functional specific policies, processes, or methods to fulfill the superior business strategy. You will plan and allocate resources and budgets to relevant projects or activities.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy. The ideal candidate will have:
- A higher education degree.
- Experience managing SCRUM teams in a SAFe Agile environment, preferably within the energy industry.
- Skills in project management, optimizing value flow, and facilitating PI Planning.
- Strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
Experience with one or more of the following is also beneficial:
- Managing and optimizing the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans and other information radiators.
- Establishing and communicating the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs).
- Facilitating PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events.
- Managing development activities, tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
- Coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
- Assisting with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.

You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
