About your future role
We're looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join our Nordic Data Protection Team for an exciting role supporting Nets with GDPR compliance.
Organizationally, the Data Protection Team is located within Group Compliance. You will be joining a growing team primarily with legal backgrounds. We are responsible for supporting the business, primarily via a network of Privacy Champions, with GDPR compliance tasks, as well as developing and driving data protection compliance projects and providing data protection support to other projects.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be the following:
- Providing guidance and advising the business with compliance tasks
- Guide, support and facilitate meetings with Privacy Champions
- Support the business with carrying out data mapping, risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) activities
- Support and drive privacy by design processes
- Handling personal data breaches and reporting data breaches
- Responding to data subject requests
- Develop and conduct training and awareness

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- A master's degree in law, commercial law, or similarly relevant degrees.
- Experience working with data protection compliance (GDPR in particular) in multinational companies, law or consultancy firms
- Professionally proficient in spoken and written English
- Excellent communications skills and good at managing your stakeholders
- Service-minded with a “can do”-attitude
Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:
- CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISM, or experience with ISO 27701 certifications, or similar
- Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, or Italian speaking
