ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Strategist is a data-driven digital marketer who operates at the intersection between media, data, analytics, and reporting.
From your experience working hands-on with data and media platforms, you have a strong understanding of the media data ecosystem which allows you to design and clearly communicate data-led strategies.
At Precis, you know our solutions inside-out and play a key role in maximizing the value of the Precis data toolbox.
In your day-to-day interactions with clients, you generate actionable insights, explain trends, bring different data sources together to tell stories, and translate data into tactics and strategies to improve media performance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Generate actionable, data-driven insights including industry trends, media performance and how it translates to business outcomes, testing outcomes, and more with the goal of enhancing media efficiency and growth.
- Create and drive strategic data roadmaps for clients, connected with business outcomes.
- Ensure successful adoption, usage, and delivery of Precis Technology and wider data toolbox (Analytics, Marketing Science).
- Understand client and Precis infrastructure to create tailored solutions to improve data maturity.
- Work actively to challenge and improve our clients’ use of data (e.g. bidding signals and marketing evaluation practices).
- Use data to challenge assumptions made by Precis or client teams.
- Own the relationship with internal and external data stakeholders to ensure that we deliver on our data agenda.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent understanding of data activation opportunities in media platforms.
- Excellent understanding of the data ecosystem including media platforms and third-party products.
- Good understanding of the privacy considerations relating to data and activation and ability to translate data and privacy into a coherent strategy for activation.
- Creative use of data to deliver insights, ideas, and results.
- Good knowledge of SQL/Python for data analysis.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Studio and Google Sheets.
