The position
The position requires a high level of knowledge concerning the strategic importance of the areas of responsibility. This includes analyzing and reporting on the Production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), ensuring strong financial delivery to relevant stakeholders, safeguarding financial targets.
The candidate should be adept at leading problem-solving tasks and managing areas such as Production Economy, Performance Management, Business Intelligence, Manning and Capacity costs.

As a Finance Partner, you will:
• Proactively use area knowledge and business insight to seek improvement opportunities and solve business challenges.
• Reactively support central or local business cases and decision-making involving areas of responsibility.
• Establish and continuously improve financial forecasting, planning and reporting across PS API.
• Ensure increase of financial understanding across the organisation by offering training and participating in cross-area processes, site visits, etc.
• Drive timely and solid delivery of formal submissions and ad-hoc requests within area of expertise.
• Ensure that financial deliverables from API are aligned to requirements from PS where required.
• Safeguard that API areas meet financial targets through continuous analysis, follow-up, and suggesting corrective and preventive actions.
• Represent API in financial matters, including central forums and work groups.

Qualifications
We are seeking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
• Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in budget process planning, benchmark analyses.
• Experience with Production Economy, including unit costs, allocations, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances.
• Analytical and IT flair.
• Independence and flexibility.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at different levels.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset based on LEAN principles.
• Strong communication skills in English, with Danish being a plus.

About the department
You will be joining the team API Manufacturing Finance in the department API Finance and Procurement. API Manufacturing Finance supports our API production facilities with financial analysis and business insights. We transform data into strategies, informing managerial decisions with our findings. We contribute to a range of optimisation projects and provide many insights that shape the way we will do things in the future. Our data sources are varied, and the models we employ have been part of Novo Nordisk’s success – making us ready for the latest Novo Nordisk product is part of our mission, ensuring that we work in the best way possible, when it comes to efficiency, yield, and agility.
