Your Impact

As the Digital & Software Manager, you will be instrumental in leading digital innovation and software transformation for Siemens’ smart infrastructure projects. This role will challenge you to shape the future of smarter, self-adaptive, and autonomous buildings across a variety of industries. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence, IT/OT convergence, and digital services, you will help customers meet their sustainability goals, reduce emissions, and optimize their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Strategy Development: Develop, drive, and execute comprehensive business and go-to-market strategies to identify and target customers for Siemens' software and digital offerings across multiple sectors.
  • Sales Strategy Innovation: Design and implement new sales strategies for cloud-based, SaaS, and AI-driven technology solutions, including the development of KPIs, tooling reviews, and sales success dashboarding.
  • Product & Portfolio Improvement: Continuously drive the improvement of Siemens' product, solution, and service portfolio, using new technologies and industry trends to stay ahead of market demands.
  • Customer Engagement & Success Management: Inspire and influence customers with tailored digital solutions, acting as a trusted innovation partner, while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through post-sale engagement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure the seamless alignment of digital solutions with broader business objectives and customer needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Create a comprehensive customer targeting plan and maintain a robust sales pipeline to efficiently identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to keep Siemens’ offerings competitive, relevant, and aligned with emerging customer needs.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and execute a digital partnership strategy to foster collaborations with technology providers and expand Siemens' digital ecosystem, ensuring all channels are effectively supported.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Provide training and mentorship to the sales team, enhancing their digital product knowledge and optimizing their go-to-market strategies using the latest digital tools.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budget allocation and resource planning, ensuring efficient project delivery and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the digital transformation strategy and take proactive steps to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and cybersecurity resilience.

Your Key Success Factors

  • A results-driven leader with a proven track record in developing and executing digital and software sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Extensive experience in leading sales and business development within the technology sector, with a focus on software and digital transformation.
  • Strong interest and expertise in emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and digital platforms to enhance consumer experiences and transform business models.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed digital and software sales targets while building and developing a high-performing, motivated team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the IoT, cloud, and software industries, coupled with a passion for using digital technologies to drive innovation and business success.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, IT, software, and cloud platforms, with strong influencing, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions to ensure the seamless delivery of customer-centric digital initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead large-scale digital initiatives from conception through to execution.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards to ensure solutions are secure and resilient.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong networks and connections within the Nordic market, with established relationships among existing and potential customers, as well as the broader technology sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales platforms, along with experience using marketing automation tools to support the sales process.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, and proficiency in one or more Nordic languages (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish).
