DIS/CREADIS is continuing to grow and expand our activities within our Life Science division, and we are looking for an experienced and self-driven Safety engineer to join our team in greater Copenhagen and Denmark.
We are a global engineering company offering highly specialized engineering consultancy services, helping clients design, build and improve complex systems, products and projects. With experience in Life Science – within pharma and medical device development – DIS/CREADIS provides expertise in meeting the challenges that our clients face.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to act as the Safety Lead on projects, from development projects to machinery implementation in an existing production line. Working alongside the rest of the project team, you’ll help contribute to the culture and structure around machine safety and secure machine design. Ensuring best practices are followed and compliance is upheld within machinery and ATEX safety.
As a Safety Engineer, you’ll be working in cross-disciplinary teams all dedicated to contributing to a safe working environment in the pharma industry. Here you’ll be working with areas such as:
- Safety of machinery and process equipment.
- Commissioning of Machinery and Process Equipment.
- Safety legislation and regulatory aspects.
- Safety and risk management.
- Risk assessment and hazardous areas with flammables liquids and dust assessments.
- Hazardous area classification (ATEX) and explosion barriers and documentation.
- Safety solutions in complex installations with explosive atmospheres.
Requirements
- Relevant technical educational background such as, Marine Engineer, Engineer, Electrician or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in similar role
- Solid experience in machinery safety, the machinery and ATEX directives and harmonized standards
- A self-starter who is highly driven and works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Enjoys knowledge sharing and collaborating in teams
